OUR STORY

The Social Work São Francisco Xavier was founded by Father Carlos (Xaverianos), in the 60s, with the objective of offering activities for boys in Parque do Paço. Later, with the construction of the Rodovia dos Imigrantes, and because it was not the mission of the Xaverians to carry out a mission with children, the work was transferred to Sister Lucina, who for years at work imprinted the marks of her dedication with love to the boys and girls. Sister Lucina was born on 13 | 08 | 1924 and died on 01 | 01 | 2014.

The Obra Social São Francisco Xavier is always attentive to the legal parameters of social assistance, and has the main certificates of municipal, state and federal social assistance. Registered with the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents.

With the objective of improving coexistence, strengthening ties, the Project develops several playful, inclusive activities, in order to establish strong bases in the assistance context.
